Anyone knows it? I am curious about it !
I found these things with google :
It is a 55 minutes low impact lesson, especially for active adults of 40 to 60 years old. It is a mix of cardio, weight and stability training, using fitnessmaterials.
THE 8TH LES MILLS PROGRAM BODYVIVE®!
Les Mills International will launch a new program beginning 1/4 1 2007. It is called BODYVIVE®. Releases 01 and 02 will be filmed on the 25 October 2006 at Les Mills World of Fitness.
In February/March 2007 the program is then introduced into license studios around the planet during 2007.The first classes were trialed by Maureen last week in New Zealand.
It is a resistance-based program!
TBC......
BODYVIVE® is a registered trademark of Les Mills International!

These means details about the program cannot be discussed here.
LMI will be making an official announcement at the end of October

I personally did a BC bootcamp in August 2005; but it was an incountry training thing; rather than official. There are also other programmes with the bootcamp name - such as "Billy's Bootcamp" from the USA.

I think the issue lies with the fact that this is the most prominent LM resource online. There are plenty of other smaller sites, but as far as I know this is the biggest.
Since it's the biggest this means that LMI monitor this site.

If you want something to work then all the buzz about the expected release is good press. That works in their favour.
However, there is a 9th Les Mills Program also about to be released as well.

I welcome anything aimed at the biggest demographic out there Generation X and Baby Boomers. We seem to be left out of the equation latley most people in that age group cannot do Bodyattack and Bodycombat because of the BPM and MHR levels. It would be good to have a program that is accessable to a group that is being ignored in the most latley. I have noticed that at the 1/4's that there are hardly any instructors in that age group demographic as instructors.
Hopefully it can bring back instructors in my age group and offer people in my age demographic a program we (they) can do.
I am looking forward to Bodyvive and what it is about and perhaps that 40 +> instructor can train in it and offer our demographic something new and something that is achieveable.
BTW: Bodyvive has been trademarked and if one searches the following it is there, it is out there and viewable by everyone at:
http://www.iponz.govt.nz/pls/web/DBSSITEN....option=IPSEARCH
Click on tradmark search and type Bodyvive. It has been there since 12th June 2006, and I knew it was there
IMO! - Always

Hmmm... Interesting what you can learn from a trademark search. I thought I'd figured what the 9th program was as well, but a quick search of the US trademark database didn't confirm. Oh well. Guess I'll have to wait and see!

from LMNZ website:
BODYCIRCUITTM dramatically increases your fitness and endurance levels.
Machine weights and cardio-athletic aerobics combine to bring you a class that tones and defines muscles with amazing speed. This is one high-energy workout that comes with a warning - you are definitely going to sweat!
What kinds of weights are used in BODYCIRCUITTM?
BODYCIRCUITTM uses machine weights and sometimes hand held dumb bells as well. The weights used on each machine are generally light as the idea is to complete a high number of repetitions, 15 – 20, on each.
What are the benefits of BODYCIRCUITTM?
BODYCIRCUITTM is the perfect Group Fitness class for the sports person aiming at cross-training. With an awesome cardio workout made up of many different simple exercises and the low weight / high repetition weight training you will increase your fitness while gaining muscle stamina & tone.
This is also a fabulous Group Fitness class for anyone with limited time to spend at the gym as you get a whole body workout in just 55 minutes.
