Don't be discouraged! I'm sure you can do it. Well, even instructors need to constantly improve, so it's a normal comment. I think it's most important to show your passion when you're presenting. If you have no confidence and are discouraged, the evaluator would feel it too.

So, cheer up! :D

Sometimes it really depends on the trainer whether you pass or not. During my training, there are a few of us did mistake in choreo, some even totally lost for the 1st half track, but she still could shadowed, but some even did it 100% choreo still resit, because of the execution of the moves.

Yeah I think it very much depends on the trainer itself. I have a feeling your trainer is very strict on technique and form... While I guess some are more concerned on your coaching abilities...

If there are any Trainers reading this, do weigh in on how you decide if a student passes? Cueing? Execution?

Yenli: It depends on where you are! If you're in a region covered by Les Mills Asia Pacific, you'll have to shell out AUD320. Don't forget transportation and hotel costs during the training, which can be substantial.

When I went the exchange rate was pretty high but now it's at an all time low. There's no better time to take it!

Resits cost AUD100.

It's important to talk to your club's GFM or GXM about your interest in training. Get all your info from them. When they know about yr interest, that's the only way they can invest in your development, coz being an instructor is more than just passing the initial training!

Good luck!

LOL! Just reading through this post , and back in Feb 07 I posted I was planning on doing the body jam training. It is now April 09 and I only just registered this week to do the training on May 30,31 & June 6. Talk about taking my time! Still I am finally doing it and I can't wait. I am excited and terrified all at the same time :)
