I'm of to do my Jam training over the next 2 weekends. :-D
Just wondering if anyone has any good suggestions or tips, particularly those that have trained since the new format came in. I'm going to do my best to have a good look at the new release.
Have done BB training, but I feel that it is going to be A LOT different!! I think I still have the same trainer though, so it will be nice to see her again.
Cheers, Tilley

Sounds good. With BB, we had 1 track to present for our assessments etc. How does this work with Jam, particularly since the new format doesn't really allow stopping, changing mics and continuing etc!!
Thanks again.

I had track 12 to present which was really fun. My main thing is I have to build up my fitness, coming from BB where it is much slower!!
I have 6 and 7 for next week, hope I have to do 7, love that Prince track!!
Any tips for the jam challenge??
Cheers, tilley

I have only said hello and had a chat at workshop.
My Balance training was last weeekend and this weekend and I was expecting to have Marena, but she is obviously busy down in Tassie.
Guess I will just have to do Jam next, hey.

I'm going to do the training 20, 21 an 28th of January.
Does somebody know if they are going to teach BJ 39 or 40 already?
What else can I expect from the training? This is my first program...

The best way to find out what release you will be trained on, is to phone the local Agent in the Netherlands.
I was trained a week before the release of 33, and we were trained on 32.
You will likely be trained on 39, because although 40 will be fresh in the minds of your trainer, they should know 39 better. Your trainer may not have even recieved their presentation kit for 40, and so they may only know 39.
Trust me, this is a good thing if you are learning 39. It is a great release, with great energy, feeling and choreography. During your training & once you finish your training you will be able to get assistance from yur peers. The other BODYJAM instructors in the area. You can get feedback specific to that release and they should know what you are asking them about. If you are trained on 40, they won't have a clue. If you also get a chance to shadow or instruct at your gym afterwards, the class will also be more receptive.
Make sure you bring a large drink bottle, changes of clothing and towel, because you will sweat. the module is heaps of fun, I wish it was cheaper so we could do it every year !
Let us know how you went. Same with you tilley !

At one sight it will be a good thing if we will bij trained on BJ39, I'm already familiar with that program, I think that would make it a little easier. I will try to contact the local agent later this week.
Somebody told me to bring, I don't know if it is called like that in English, tigerbalsem?

Tiger Balm is essentially an anti-inflammatory balm for your muscles. True, I can see the point in having it - definitely. You should be able to source it from your local chemist/ pharamcy.
You will find that you do sooo much exercise to music that your body will feel really exhausted, especially since this is your first training module. It;s a lot better than doing a multi-program module, or say Pump or Attack.
One other thing I would definitely suggest is find out what helps you to relax before sleep. Use this as your secret weapon. You will not believe how well you will sleep ONCE you get to bed on the night of the 20th and the 27th. But you will find yourself exhausted and not able to function propely without sleep.
As soon as you get a chance after day 1, grab a good meal, allow some rest, practise your presentation for day two, then sleep.
The same applies for day three. Practise your routine whenever possible and know your music InSIDE and Out. Get a good night's sleep on the day before day 3, then prepare for a fun day !
Good Luck !
