Does anyone have any cues that they've used specifically for 30?  I'm training on 30 in like 10 days , and I haven't really come up with any good ideas.   Whatcha got?

One that I particularly like: pain is temporary, giving up is for ever!

That one comes from Mister Lance Armstrong himself!!!!!!

another collegue says: pain is an emotion and that can be turned off!!!!

Well then there was the
picture someone you dislike, catch up to him, look to the side, spit in his face/wide bitchslap, leave him eating your dust
but then I was in that kind of mood at the time, and I had someone very specific in mind that I could apply it to .

I also like in #6 RPM 31, like dan is saying about the wind....

"Let the wind carry you,(feels easier) feel how it's helping you to reach your top pace".

In #5 I say something like: we have to make up for a couple of seconds, we're behind schedule, how? AERO WITH RESISTANCE!!

Does anyone have cues in #7 that do not say things like: it's harder, more work, incline, resistance....We are looking for cues that say the same thing, but without calling it like that, because it has been proven that people are feeling worse when they hear that it's going to be harder or there's an incline...

Hope you know some cues...

I say things like " pump it, baby pump it" in a rhythmic way that goes with the beat. OR, pedal to the metal, or at attacks, passing a rider on the hill, take it to the top, etc. push it,

Respect the Recovery! R E S P E C T!

With the focus of work and recovery intrenched in RPM I ask my participants to respect the down time between efforts and bring attention to the fact that if they find the recoveries boaring or to stop-start, they didn't go hard enough in the last phase. When you go "breathless", you NEED the recovery.
Lucky for them there is always another phase just around the corner.

Here's a chance to share inspirational, funny, feeling and emotional cues.

Of the only class I've done, the instructor we had was very passionate, but so passionate that he just made me and my friend laugh!

He would say "oh this class has meant SO much to me, you guys have just been so awesome, you've REALLY touched a spot deep in my heart"

Gotta laugh - the education session for this quarters workshops was this kind of stuff - speed cues vs strength cues!

If you hate me, then add more resistance. -- Must be done during a really hard track (Song 5 RPM 24, or Song 3 RPM 23, etc..) especially when you have all the members looking like they would like to kill you Posted Image 'I like this one as they really do look like they hate you!'

....I say fast sexy legs everyone wants them even ... (and say the one guys name in the room)

Cant think of my inspiring lines at present - will see tonight... When the road hits squeeze it back, Leave track marks
