Bodypump 75 Quarter 3 - 2010

The opening track – Fever – serves as a preview of the carnage to come, as you find the perfect SET position over the punchy big beats. Game on!
Track 2 engages the legs with heavy squats and sets the tone for the rest of the workout, with a barrage on the upper body and a chest section that lays down a challenge – press-ups off an elevated platform.
The first new element arrives in Track 4 – a wider lift grip for rows that has you feeling the intensity build-up behind the shoulders – then go slightly heavier than usual to target the triceps, culminating with one-arm kickbacks for best isolation.
In Track 6, strap on your spurs and holsters, and have some fun riding the range, while working the "guns" to Cowboy Casanova, the real showpiece of this release.
But the levity doesn’t last long. Track 8 gives the shoulders a hammering with the new rotator pec dec move... BECAUSE WE NEED MORE HARDCORE!
Then it's time for yet another innovation – wider feet set in the hover position to stabilize and challenge the core as you walk the hands, one by one, to press-up width and back.
By the time you warm down, your body will be confirming what those fans already knew.

Please send me some "Procrastination Stop" mouthwash, and a can of "Inspiration" bodyspray so I can learn this for Sunday

And then, as you know, I almost spat my coffee with the widescreen close-up of Susan Flemings arms in Triceps. Oh dear God, there are some things you should NEVER see, and that was right up there!
As for Biceps, not even wearing a Stetson would save that baby. Heck, at least "Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy" had some redeeming features - like pure cheese - but this one is just a sad sack

No one mentionned that in the official LM forum, but I was about to say the exact same thing.. OMG!! She scares me with all these veins on her arms...
Much prefer the body of the other girl : I don't recall her name, she presented the back track and the abs track.

I did think maybe she was injured though - it looks as though she has 5kgs a side for chest.
I am not a fan of the veiny look for boys or girls, but hey maybe she likes it. I am sure there are people that don't love the look of my pale, flabby arms. LOL!

I just love the squats, I love the single bottom half pulse in time with the music. The chest track is a little bit more plain, but I love the back track and how it starts off slow and then it kicks off with the faster music. Makes me buzz!
Triceps I can't really remember, I only remember pain and laying on my back. Biceps is just fun! The slightly difficult timing with the cover music (and seeing instructors struggle with it) keeps me mentally occupied.
Lunges, forget lunges........I'm totally writing off lunges until I can complete a track. At least my ankle problem is getting stronger now and I put the back of my heel against the step to support my ankle which helps heaps.
Shoulders is awesome but the rotator lifts totally cain! Love the music, it's awesome.
Abs and cooldown? Can't really remember by that point, and I've worked too hard to care.
Total thumbs up for this release!

Totally in love with this release too.
The back track is my favourite in this release.
Standout tracks for me are : squats, chest, back, shoulders and abs.
Triceps track is simple. Go heavier for this one.

Mel, totally wrong opinion! 55 is one of the better with some truly awesome tracks! Let's see:
warmup - uplifting piece of music, choreo works really well, bottom half squats are unique
squats - yeah, cheesy song, but with a great beat and choreo is ok (51 is quite similar)
chest - PHENOMENAL!
back - ok, this one sucks, but at least you have a song that goes with the Olympic spirit...
triceps - AWESOME!!!
biceps - kind of boring, despite the positive lyrics; works well for a change (zero singles, zero b/halves)
lunges - nothing special, not bad at all
shouders - great!
abs - fantastic
cooldown - classic
You really should give it a second chance!
P.S. I prefer 55 over 75 anytime!

warmup makes me want to pull my fingernails out
squats - this one did later grow on me when I got bored of all my favs, more for the cheesyness factor
chest - I do agree with you, always like this one
The rest, except lunges which is an average track, gets very VERY bad from here!
Olympia, galvanize...........ugh.......torment, don't do it to me!

Triceps (California) is the toughest one yet, music is great, choreo works. What else do you want?
See, you're looking it from the wrong perspective. I assume you don't like the music for most of the tracks, but you get an awesome workout to a great choreo!
Like what you do.

Biceps is a disaster and even after finally working out the chorey to the beat I still don't like it as it seems far too jerky. The lunge track gets a big tick - mainly because I hate lunges and this one is a lot easier than the brutality of 74. However, the shoulders track is awesome - non-stop complaining from the muscles
