Ok, so maybe this is a tough one, and I'm sure that there are lots of sentimental favourites, but I'm thinking that this might be one of the best ever. It's in my top 5, easily.

And here's why this one makes the list:
  • The music. It makes you work, but is something that you can listen to. It's the sort of track you listen to when running, and gets you through that last km to the finish line.
  • The moves. Hurt. There are enough repeaters to drive your heart rate, straight into OTT and plenty of fast tap/squat combos - long blocks to really punish you
  • The chorrey - a nice intro that gets you ready but isn't too easy, 2 long blocks that make you think it's over, and another final set to finish you.

I don't know if it will ever be the sentimental favourite like Scooter, and there are definately other good tracks there, but I don't know anyone who gets to the end of Sexy! No No without feeling totally smashed.

Oh, and two other reasons i like it: You get to get sexy... which is a nice distraction from the pain of round two! and most importantly - The lyrics - you can sign along, and make you your own "fergalicious" version if you want too!!!

For the record, my top five are: Faster Harder Scooter (50), Tribal Dance(57) , Eye of the Tiger (49), Flirt (72) and Sexy! No No (79).

Is that song in the current release? I am hoping to try another step class soon, so I'd love to try it.

I agree with you, top 5 definitely.
I have a couple that are sentimental faves too, like Scooter of course, but Sexy No No has the potential to get there too.

I love straddle jumps. :)

And I would never ever sing my own Fergalicious version. Never.

I like that the more fit people in my classes can really push themselves. I know they can always work hard, but there really is more opportunity in this one to smash it. And the people that don't want to smash themselves are happy to boogy along. I actually like that the low-impact option is boring, and the set of fast bits is really long, because it's made some people try the hard option when they normally don't.

I think this is without doubt one of the best peak tracks ever. The music and chorry are extremely strong, and I found that I worked even harder than usual (even though I was dying by the end of the first half lol). One problem I could see was that the less experienced steppers were having problems with the fast straddle-jumps, and even the low option didn't really seem to work for them. Has anybody else experienced this?

I normally give down taps as an option as well as (or instead of) the pendulums. It depends on the class though and who is there. The good thing is that down taps are boring, so most people will try at least some of the fast ones if they get sick of the 32 single taps on their own.

I've noticed very few people will do the pendulum - they just end up standing there.

Ha, It's only that I read this thread that I remembered the pendulum was even an option.
I am sure I gave it at first, but the people that don't want to try jumping aren't the penduluming kind anyway.
I have some that do single taps and some that do double taps for the low option. Double taps seem to somehow match the speed move better.
I don't mind so long as everyone feels comfy and gets whatever kind of workout they were after.

I do agree though that it works to our advantage a bit that it get's boring staying low, and that the speed tap option looks so cool. It makes people give it a go, even if just a tiny one.
