What is the actual way to do the double skip? Is it like the high knee run where the knee 90 degrees toes pointing down or we kick out our leg like the single skip?

I'm kinda confused as when Rach does the double skip she tends to kick out one leg...... The other leg is like a high knee run....

I have no idea, and I think the "double skip" technique seems to change from release to release!

I personally, do one high knee and a heel into floor (hard to describe).

I don't know officially either, but I think where you kick out one leg is more a recovery skip. The high knee skip is when you're still working hard.

That's my interpretation anyway........I haven't analysed it :)

I go along with Mel...it depends on what the choreo is trying to accomplish at the time...if it's a recovery phase, keep it low kick, if it's a peak phase, make it high knee - you can usually tell which it is supposed to be by the music, the choreo before/after the skip, and by what Dan & Rach are saying at the time.
