BODYATTACK® 67 is about having fun and finishing the class together as a team! Chart-topper Closer by Chris Crew will get the show on the road leading into the huge hit for track number 2, Release Me. Amp it up in Track 3! Turn up the energy and make the moves bigger in four blocks of work. There is a new combo consisting of three Knee Crossovers and two Single Knees. When you’re ready, add a turn! You’ll finish off this track with 30 seconds of Jumping Jacks to Gimme More. Surrender to the music and Rock It to your peak in the insanely intense Track 4. Single Lunges, High Knees and Jumping Jacks will push your heart rate through the roof! Come down to the floor to get some Boom Boom Pow in your shoulders, chest and triceps with Pushups, before getting ready for the second cardio block. First, be Number 1 on the studio floor and then it’s off to soccer practice. The class splits into two squads for some agility training and football-inspired moves. Get ready – you are now entering the high-energy phase of BODYATTACK®! Take Me To The Clouds Above will inspire you to reach the clouds and take the intensity higher than you have ever been before! Stay in the zone to push your body through Tuck Jumps, High Knees and Jumping Jacks, while singing along to the cover of The Cranberries’ monster hit Zombie.

It definitely sounds good from the sizzler. Strangely, I haven't read any opinions from any of the filming attendees.
Hopefully I can go to workshop in 3 weeks, but they've moved it back to Sundays and put it all the way on the other side of town. :(

Why do they insist on using the word new? Isn't that exactly what we did in Layla?

 You've been teaching Attack for too many years! I must admit, when I saw that I thought "Hang about.."

I just think it's funny that they say "new release" on every DVD pack. I've got years of new release DVD's on my desk.

Totally off topic, but has anyone actually counted how many DVD's they have? I did once a while back and counted thousands of dollars worth. A bit scary actually...........what would happen if I lost it in a fire?

Hmmmm, wonder if you can get LM DVD's insured? lol

Back to body attack..............remember the move well in Layla. Unfortunately it was one of the last releases I did bodyattack. Dunno if I'll get to do this release either?

I did the same thing and yeah, I recall thinking $2000 worth. I got enough that they broke the shelf on my desk where they lived. Now they are moved to an impractical drawer.

I have now done most of this release a couple of times now and I am really liking it. I am fairly new to body attack so can't really comment on how well it compares to other releases but i am find it it challenging and fun which for me says a lot as traditionally i have not been a huge fan of body attack however this release ( or what I have seen of it so far) has grown on me. I am even tempted to go along early to quarterlies to see the whole thing in its entirety. It should be pretty awesome.

Did the workshop today and enjoyed the release overall. Haven't enjoyed one since 63. Interval track was so good. Actually, in general, most of the tracks were pretty good - moves with music. It flowed okay. Enjoyed the Agility track too, lots to have a bit of fun with :-D

I will have to ensure that I empty the bladder prior to teaching this release though ;)

This release is fantastic - totally went off at workshop yesterday. I think the first half is better than the 2nd, and core strength in the pushup track killed me. Track 7 will take some getting used to - there seem to be a lot of moves thrown in together.

Track 9 is a great finale!

I'm not sure it's my favourite release, but this is the most i've looked forward to launches in a while!

Let me just bite my typing hand off and swallow it. Trying to learn the agility track is an exercise in extreme annoyance.

*hangs head in shame*

Ok, I admit it, I was wrong. Launched Attack today and the Agility track was absolutely 'sucked up' by the participants. Yes, I felt like a Gin and a lie down after constant cueing, quick changes and creative visualisation techniques, but participants were yelling and getting right into it. They even clapped at the end (and these participants are VERY restrained people in this club - far too cool to yell and clap...)

I was totally unprepared for the real intensity of this release. Yes, you always sweat teaching Attack, but far out, we were pouring sweat by the end of track 3! You can only imagine how we were after "Zombie". I felt like I'd taken a swim in a pool fully clothed, my shoes were actually 'squelching'. That was before we did the conditioning tracks. So whatever fluid I had left in my body after them, was gone. I could barely hold the Glut stretch as my legs kept slipping. We finished with the Chest stretch and both of us still had sweat dripping from our noses and chins in a steady stream

I am not looking forward to teaching this on Monday night in a gym with no air-con (I know, harden up Princess). But hey, great cardio-intense release - sneaks right up on you!

Good luck to everyone else

That's nice to hear. Really hope that choreo stands out, because after listening to the music I'm very disappointed. Running and power tracks sound good, everything else is sooo not my taste... [-(
