You’ll be charged from start to finish with BODYATTACK® 66 – it’s a fusion of magic, movements and music to take you toward two high-energy peaks. Just Dance is a great Warm Up track with a huge amount of energy and lift off! You’ll have loads of fun with the Fly on the Wall theme of Track 3 where intensity is lifted in the Superman’s and maintained with the Shuffle Combinations. The new Side Step and Squat Combo in Track 4 will help peak your heart rate before you’re challenged with 100 push-ups in Track 5. Don’t worry though – there are plenty of options to help you through! The Running Track, Track 6, is all about technique, energy and as the song When You Leave suggests, some “Ha ha!” In Track 7 you have a chance to relax and have some fun in the rhythm combo. Look forward to the sports training which builds power and strength, especially in the Step Runs and Ice Skaters. Track 8 is five minutes of energy, adrenalin and passion to really build your fitness. I Kissed A Girl motivates you to reach your maximum peak before the rocking and appropriately named Take It To The Limit really pushes you to your second peak. Reset, breathe and condition your legs in Track 10 with the Repeaters and Lunges before spinning your legs right round with the Scoop in the core conditioning track.
Like what you do.

Interesting to see that because the Les Mills brand is global they will actually go to the trouble of including an additional option track...
Looking forward to teaching the new one - from what I've seen it should go off with both instructors and attack participants!

Also disliking the Power track (but I always dislike those, far too much energy involved
The rest appears okay, am LOVING the push-up track.

Couple of thoughts.
Having Bevan to take the class was just amazing, he really is just as inspiring and a fantastic coach/motivator, not that I ever doubed that, but seeing it in reality was a blast. Very nice guy too, took heaps of time to chat to everyone, get to know people and hang out. Credit to him :-D
As for the class, its a mixed bag for me. Partly because the floor was horrendous, and my calves and feet screamed so bad that I had to the power track low impact.
A few stand out tracks for me, really like the remix of the warm up track. Moves and a few interesting combos across the board. Nothing jumped out at me, but I was probably more thinking about my sore feet than anything to get the full experience unfortunately.
Agility, hmm interesting, seemed a bit all over the place, couldn't get into that at all.
Not a bad release though overall :-D

Second peak, the running track went okay. The agility track, hmmm, what can I say. Participants feedback at the end of the class was that their hips were extremely sore and they felt it start in the agility track. I don't know whether it was all the "ice-skaters" (that's when I felt my hips screaming at me) or just the "all-over-the-place" moves. Some of them actually stopped during it and were rubbing their hips :-k Maybe that will be the first track we mix out.
Interval training pushed them. Power track didn't go too badly considering it's such a quick cue call. Although, participants did say they thought the high-knee runs went on and on and they felt it was too long (heck, so did we!
Lower body conditioning actually really pushed everybody, and I certainly felt it in my butt and quads - very effective. Abs, honestly, how many times can you put a song into releases for that quarter?! I love the song, but I've got it in Combat, Pump AND Attack!
Cool-down, it's got to be an all-time favourite for me - funky, light, relaxing - reminds you of sitting on the beach with your toes in the water on a summers day. Everyone was doing a dance at the end.
It's really only the first launch for this release so it will be interesting to hear comments from other gyms. My concern is the hip soreness that the participants, the other instructor and I felt in the agility track (and we were on a fully-sprung, carpeted aerobics floor). Mine felt like joint pain rather than muscle pain - darn! Actually, it's been so sore this afternoon that I couldn't learn my Balance tracks for Wednesday (standing strength, hip openers). I'm hoping that after a nights rest I can teach my Pump class tomorrow
How did the rest of you go?
Sofie - I know you've only just had your workshop, but I would love to know how you go with the agility track and whether your hips scream at you as well.

Tracks 1,2,5,8 and 9 are fantastic. I still can't get the timing in track 4. It just doesn't quite seem right to me. And 4 and 9 seem to melt together in my brain. Favourite track - PUSHUPS!!! I love the song, not to mention the look on everyone's face when you say "AGAIN"....
Agility was a bit different, but I haven't heard of any hip pain issues.

When we launched, we did a few tracks from each program, so I got to "try" bodyattack. The tracks we did I absolutely loved and made me feel a bit nostalgic and I miss attack so much. I only remember doing the warmup track, plyo lunges, running track and I think the interval or peak track.
Definately very very good what I saw..........unfortunately my hips were screaming at me by the third track

You should feel lucky you skipped the agility track. This one is definitely a hip burner.
Like what you do.

Just wondering if Rise Again has exactly the same choreo as I Kissed a Girl?
Like what you do.
