Well better late than never... I teach 3 Attack classes regularly per week, as well as 3 Balance, however there are times where you get asked for covers, so some weeks it may be up to 5 or 6 per week.
Personally, I find doing two classes a day (plus full time work as well) a bit rough but at times it is needed... thankfully not that much
I think it depends on your body, your footwear, your other workload, your technique, all of the above, to really gauge how many to do per week - some might want to do more than others. I think the key thing is remember the essence of the program, and the power that is required for a class, and not to exhaust yourself and therefore lose that power, energy and emphasis.

I teach just 1 Attack per week. I am quite happy with that.
I have done 2 a week and that was fine, but personally I wouldn't want any more on a permanent basis. I am probably just being lazy but Attack takes it out of me. If attack were my only program I am sure I'd be happy to teach more, but right now it needs to fit in with the rest of my week and I have to teach 11 other classes.

Just the one, with the occasional fill in to make it two.
I'd love another one, but it just isn't that popular around here. I'm trying to be as awesome as I can, but there's not many on the timetables even to participate in.
And I'd be happy doing up to 3 a week (assuming I get over my calf injuries), depending on how much else is going on.

That's incredible, you've gone and had another baby in the meantime while I'm still recovering from my baby, and I'm still not doing attack!
My chiro is sorting me out at the moment, so maybe I'll get back into attack one of these days.

I haven't had any extra injuries to deal with like you Mel. Except for a brief re-encounter with SPD. Grr!
I hope the chiro helps. Attack might kill me, but I do love it. I am finally back at that point where I feel like I can really smash out the whole class, and it reminds me why Attack is it's own special kind of awesome.

Mel, I'd wager your SPD was pretty darn severe, it takes time to get over something like that.
I teach two Attacks/wk. Would do one more "fill" and that's about it. I have done four Attacks in the week before, but I'm like Special, it really takes it out of me. There is no way you can have a little 'slack off' teaching Attack (not like decreasing weights slightly in Pump for eg).

Interestingly, I'm pretty sure mine wasn't SPD. Although I had some discomfort in that area during pregnancy, it was actually my sacroilliac joint that I had probs with.
What caused it was pretty much the fall i had down the stairs a few months after the birth. Then it was a gradual worsening over time. Being in a strange country I didn't know my way around and didn't get any medical treatment until 6 months later when I finally saw a chiro, but by that stage my back was totally crooked. I think the fact I still had pregnancy hormones at the time probably amplified my injuries after my fall (2 falls actually), but I don't think the hormones themselves were the actual cause on their own.
Despite that, and knowing there's an actual cause, it's frustrating to see others get straight back into stuff after pregnancy, when I'm seemingly spiriling into a worsing state of unfitness. But let's hope with the warmer weather and my awesome chiro i'll be back with ya's doing BA again one day!
