oh I loved BC24!!!! awesome awesome awesome..........did this one at Sydney Filex with D&R, that was the first time I got to meet them.
I still think of it as a combined warmup btw.......they just mix in different pieces of music. They do it with other tracks aswell, but it's still a single track.
The only reason we think of it as seperate is because there used to be split warmup tracks years ago, but that doesn't really make it a seperate track. If they use 2 different pieces of music in another track we don't call it a "split track"

By combined I meant that upper/lower were combined in same song, doing it in order R upper, R lower, L upper, L lower.
BTW, do you consider BA tracks 10a and 10b separate? That was also earlier only one track, where you did legs/abs but now for sometime there has been separate tracks. Still they are named as 10a and 10b, rather than 10 and 11.

I think the difference is that in Combat you can't mix the warmups. You can't do upper body form one release, and lower from another, so in that way, it is all one track.
In Attack they are 2 separate pieces of music, and so I think of them as 2 separate tracks. But I don't think they have ever said that is is always going to be like that. There is no reason we couldn't get an all in one track 10 in a new release is there?

BUT, there were the occasional tracks that did it that way, even though it was the same piece of music. BC15 did upper body then lowerbody for example........but all in the same song. There was at least 1 other warmup that was like this as well if memory serves me right.
Introducting 2 pieces of music, in my opinion, doesn't mean that it's suddenly a split track format.
As for bodyattack..........I haven't taught it for a year now so I don't really know what i call it. I think that choreography wise it cannot be broken up when considering a mix, so it should still be one track.

Yes, BC14 and BC15 have one track as warmup and it is done upper body first, lower body after. BC1-13 had separate tracks for upper and lower. Then BC16-24 had one track for warmup and was done right side first (upper, lower) and then left side. And since BC25 we've had separate song for upper and lower but mixed as 1 track
Well in BA the tracks 10a and 10b are separate on CD so you can easily mix legs from another release and abs from another.

Oh man, I'm jealous! (not that I've trained in either of those, so maybe I'll get them if/when I do)
Dean is teaching a couple of classes on a Friday morning at Fitness First Chadstone Platinum at the moment.. I'm tempted to skive off work for the morning and go participate...
