Now, what confuses me is this one bit from Bodybalance 43 Sizzler: "Sheryl Crow's Always On Your Side is back by popular demand"
To whom do they refer with this "popular demand"???

Why all the people in the luvie crowd at the start of the videos. I like BB and almost all LMI releases, but really...

The thing that gets me is that if you teach more than one programe they quite often use the same song in more than one release so you have to learn 2 sets of coreo for the same track. I have yet to get the pumpers doing tai chi or vice versa but I am sure I will someday!

As far as reusing songs between programs....I guess I am tolerent of it to an extent. I do know we are getting TWO recycled Pump songs in RPM 40...that was a bit much, but at least they are good songs. What I am really waiting for is some SCOOTER in Body Balance LOL!

You have my support. But then again I do have a very special, secret training video for that track .. :-&
Anyway you may want to check the spelling: miserere
About reusing music in general: if the song is good.....Mind Mozart, Bach, et cetra are being reused every single day. Bits of their music are taken and transformed into a new song. As long this is done well I don't have any problem with it.
And for those who disagree with the music being used: like mentioned above LM is open to suggestions. Put your effort into doing that....

It must be the thing to do nowadays - even Rihanna is sampling the numa numa song (Dragonsta Din Tei by Ozone) in her latest song. She must be getting stuck for inspiration
the bid on cool stuff auction - proceeds towards fighting unfair copyright fees

lol, there's only 1 copy of it.............very very unique
as for reusing songs? bah.........I guess I'm like beemoe, I'm pretty tolerant. I've always been too busy learning chorrey to worry about whether it's a reused track or not

Not too sure but is it because of cost cutting around ? Even the DVD covers are reused from the posters this quarter....

Don't the DVD covers always use the poster image? Certainly every release I've had for all of the programmes I teach (5 of them) has used the poster picture as the DVD cover...

Bad: BodyBalance 44 has a song that is in BB for the third time.
Good: It's a wonderfull song, I love it and I don't mind at all.
Do you think participants notice the repeated songs as much as we do? ALso when they reuse a song from the same program they usually go far far back. How many members do you have that do BodyBalance since more than let's say 20 releases??

I know that the Tai Chi is a Conjure One song which was originally sued as a Sun Sal (in 28 or 29) - but that was a cover version by Emerald Green.
What's the track that's making a 3rd appearance.......?

Desert rose no 9 and no 24 and I think if they pay the same amount for licencing they could give us new songs, that suggestion list of songs has some great songs, (but in the same breath lets see what happens with the PPCA decision as we might end up with lots of covers:(...)

I don't really do balance (I suck at it), but I do combat, attack & pump regularly and sometimes the same song can be in all 3 programs!
This must be a headache for all the instructors who teach multiple programs, trying to learn all the choreography!
Surely when Les Mills are selecting songs for a program like Pump, they can go through ther list of suggested songs and they may come across one and say "well we can't use that song, because that has already been used in Body Combat".... or something like that....?? #-o
