I’ve been waiting for this topic! So hard, but my all time favourite is BA54, closely followed by 56. Honourable mentions to 52 and 61. But every release has great tracks.

Oh yeah 45 is great as well!!

Every BA release is fun. But in every release, there's usually 1 or 2 tracks that are "weak links". Those tracks that i don't like too much, either because of the music or the choreography.

But BA60 was probably one of the best releases i've ever seen. great choice of music (a perfect mix of techno, pop, and rock songs) and killer choreography. Not a weak link at all. A really great, intense, and balanced release from start to finish.

Here here... hard to say just one favourite release - although 61 was superb to teach and just had great energy to it. For example 56 is great - I love the interval and peak tracks, but find the aerobic and plyometic track a bit meh.

And I do love "Hello" from 53... Love the plyometic track (I Can't Stand It) but really can't stand the aerobic track (From Paris to Berlin) just because of the song ;)

I just like mixing-and-matching too much hehe

Oooh wait I have an actual answer... 58 is my favourite complete release - it misses the energy of 56's "Wanna Be Free" but doesn't have any tracks that make me groan.

You make me wanna la la...

My favorites are:
57 Olivier cracks me up with his French energy. I also love him in BodyStep.
59 I love every track on this one! All the instructors on this one did a fantastic job!
60 is an awesome release as well. Bevan is so much fun in the Peak track!

61 hasn't really grown on me yet.

BodyAttack is my favorite Les Mills program. I do Pump, Step and Attack

MartyF - 58 is a great release, it would have to be a favourite of mine too. Having said that, I only trained on 61, and could only get back releases 57, 58, 59, and 60. I learned a half-half mix 57 and 58 for any fill-in classes I got, prior to the release of 62. So I'm yet to 'discover' the joys of 59 and 60.

I've found my brain has not switched into learning ATTACK mode yet, so I'm still finding it hard to learn the choreography. Have no problems learning chorey for my other two programs, so fingers crossed it will come good soon!

59 is what I trained with so I don't think I'll ever forget it hehe The Interval tracks in 59 and 60 are good fun - 59 is short and sharp (great energy, and a sinch to learn) and 60's square pattern is fun : )

I struggle learning the new releases in 2 weeks for launch time just due to my brain stressing over it - when I don't need to learn the choreography (I change mine every few weeks), I tend to learn it in a snap - it just comes. For example the most recent batch I did I learnt on a Tuesday and then taught Wednesday with no mistakes - but my aim was to learn it for the next week, so my head wasn't stressed about it. But, yes, I'm sitting here with 62 on my desk and *sigh* yes the brain is in overdrive to get ready for that. I think when you're relaxed for time it just sticks.

And I must admit it gets easier over time too - as mentioned, trained on 59, and I was so worked up on the Saturday night thinking "crap, how the heck am I ever going to learn a whole release" but then it just starts coming - highlighting patterns, knowing the way the music moves, etc, all the stuff talked about during the training. But you'll just find a way that works for you - I find that I start learning with the DVD, just to step out the moves on the 'instructor' foot and to hear their cues. Then the audio track changes to the music-only on the DVD and I start to do more from memory but know that I have the TV for a quick reference if needed. Then the DVD goes off, and it's just music, and I find stepping through makes my body feel comfortable with it - my body can then move with the music too. But everyone has their own way to learn and its all about what works for you. It will come : )

It always takes longer for me to learn my new program too. Right now that is Pump and even when I think I've learnt it, it's gone again 2 days later.

I think I tend to max out too. I can learn 3 tracks for a class no worries... but a whole release tends to get jumbled up inside there.

Ah yes I was like that with 61. 62 trying to take it in my stride, although there are some odd combos at the end of tracks which will be interesting :)

I know this feeling - when changing choreography I change half at a time, and the next week replace the other half, as a whole release is harder to get down. It's funny though, I find the older releases (even those I never participated in) easier to learn than the new ones. Maybe there's some subliminal message in the audio hehe

Special - I used to really struggle with Pump too! I think it takes a while for the old brain to start unconciously working out the 'patterns' in each program to aid learning. I also have a very frustrating time which I like to call "Head banging chorey learning" - you know, you think you've learnt it, but you haven't. And right before you despair totally, it all just clicks into place.

I have just had a phone call to teach the back half of BA62 tomorrow morning, due to instructor sickness. Well, nothing like a bit of PRESSURE! And here I was thinking, well, I should be right for my first Attack launch next Monday. ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!

God help me is all I can say!

Release 50 - by miles. Consistently great tracks throughout.
I did this release a few weeks ago and it also confirmed to me, Attack has got a lot easier these days.

I just had to come back and repost my favorite BA. It's BA 47! I love everything about this release.

Bevan is so energetic in the "When You're Looking Like That". He makes me smile through the tough stuff.

Lisa was awesome in "We Will Rock You".

Kylie was fun throughout the whole workout.

Had to join in on this one, only been a participant since BA55 but doing my ETM course at the moment so hopefully should be teaching attack somewhere soon - can't wait!!!  O:)

As for the original topic, I would've said a couple of weeks ago that 58 was my absolute all time favourite, love the warm up, mixed impact and agility and LOVE LOVE LOVE the interval ("Kiss the Sky") but now I'm doing 62 I seem to love this whole release so I'm torn between the two!

After these I'd have to say 60 was a definite favourite of mine but can only ever take second place (or third) once I've decided what my actual 1st place would be given to!!

ooooooooohhh...that's a tough one, as like others have said there is usually at least one or two songs that make you go ugh.. But 58 is up there - LAYLA!!! Never, ever get sick of teaching this track.
The question is.. What is the question?

I REALLY like Release 56. I think the music is great! Does anyone know HOW I can order anymore Back Releases? I started training with BA 60 and would like to mix more tracks so prevent boredom. I've already been mixing 60 - 63, and we are launching 64 soon but I want MORE! I get bored easily and have the same participants every week.
