I decided to try Body Vive last week, as a break from my usual RPM, Pump, Attack, Balance, Combat etc. It seems a rather 'bitty' program, with lots of changes of focus. It doesn't seem to flow smoothly. I got a bit of a workout, but not enough to sweat.
How many of you instructors teach BV? It doesn't really seem to have taken off round here, and a lot of gyms either don't have the program, or have cut out classes.

I'm not an instructor, however our gym teaches it 3x's a week. I noticed the class is usually pretty small, around 6-10 people in it. From what I know, it's designed for people who are getting in to the fitness thing or people in their 40's+. It is low impact. I take it with two different instructors. One teaches an older version of it and I barely break in to a sweat. I do sweat in the latest version which is the one I really like - very fun.
I am liking the class because it is helping me feel comfortable following directions and learning simple steps which I hope will be a stepping stone to other classes I'd like to progress towards.
Since the class has had such lower numbers, I get 1:1 time with the instructors. One corrected me "lunge" pose and another corrected my resistant-tube pulls (i was pulling from the shoulder, not the arm)
One woman in the class is taking it. She appears to be very fit but she's coming off of hip surgery and is slowly getting back in to movement again.
