Bodyvive 3 Sizzler

BODYVIVE is getting a big 'thumbs up' from members as we continue the worldwide rollout. Especially popular is the overall feel-good nature of the classes, together with the community and interactive elements, the classic music from yesteryear and the distinctive, targeted exercise blend.
BODYVIVE 3 is now set to fuel further take-up in gyms, with some structural adjustments providing a more smoothly flowing class. Heart fitness and functional strength tracks are now grouped together, with the tai chi and yoga track setting up the transition between the two main blocks. The new class warms up with easy moves to the sound of John Paul Young's Love is in the Air and moves up a geat with VIVE ball work and the classic How Sweet It Is from James Taylor.
Members get to practice their mambos and cha cha chas' in the new dance cardio track; then step it out together for some interactive fun with the Jackson Five hit, Can You Feel It, from circa 1980. Everyone works hard with Amii Stewart's Knock On Wood - motivation's not a problem for this final heart fitness track - and there's a real good feeling about the arabesques and the T-shirt strip as we calm things down with tai chi and Fleetwood Mac.
Functional strength tracks focus sequentially on balance and leg strength, upper body strength and hips strengthening, before Christina Aguilera and friends and Simply Red take the stage to take us through the remaining core work. Finally, we get to "release and restore" with the Moody Blues' dream rock classic Nights in White Satin.
Enjoy!

Hey..
/ just did my very first VIVE class in Scotland, and I was the only male there…
It really felt awkward though when Pam told us to take care of our balls
Still... it had some pretty hard tracks in it, didn’t expect that at all, really good workout.
Don’t really know whether it was VIVE 2 or 3 though…
but there was a shoulder to shoulder dance track in it

Glad you liked it. sounds like rel. 2
I just filmed mine today to send it...
Release 2 is hard to learn on. The program was in transition....
The BODYVIVE team, from what I have heard from our local LM agent, have done a super job in release 3, and it all comes together.
The ball thing did get some laughs from both men and women...
Cheers,
Dorian

Vive's fun!
Did the program for the first time, and it's the first LM program that I was doing with a smile on my face all the time... music that is so familiar and you can sing along to (er, am I that old already?!), relatively easy moves. So what if it's easy and low impact to "fit" people like me? I won't mind doing the class, just for the fun of it after doing so many high intensity programs...

Now I wish I can be trained in the program... but apparently I'm too young? Hmm...

Really concerned that vive 3 is much more complex in choreo than 2 our members were so happy that they had a program to enjoy with no complex moves but just overall good fitness fun.., vive 3 tracks are really challenging our overweight and less flexible members. I am really interested to hear any other instructors opinions on this and what options you are giving your members. It is such a great program/concept I really want to make it accessible to all in our community.

I did BODYVIVE 3 for the first time today, and I agree totally that the moves are quite difficult, especially during the new Dance Cardio track. The leg changes were not easy! Grant it, it may be the "C" personality in us instructors talking, because some new people in the class (like me) couldn't figure it out and they had a lot of fun anyway.
Looking forward to see what the next release is like.
