Sophie, I've taught Attack three times now on basketball-type floors. Most of the participants 'get' the split room bootcamp thing, but do struggle with the push-ups - hurts their knees, plus some of the sweatier people have slipped on sweat.
Strangely, I don't find this release as cardio hard as previous releases. I don't know whether it's because the release is easier, or I'm getting more "Attack-fit".

all the places I teach at have a good carpet floor anyway, but its more for the 'experience' at the workshop. Guess it never hurts to keep us on our toes, no pun intended!

I would hate to be learning solely from these notes.
How on earth does "Run & Back Side Kick Flick L,R x4" describe what actually goes on at the end of track 3.
There isn't even any running in the part the notes are referring to.
At least Attack still names teh moves, I guess. Step has turned into algebra homework.

I agree with you Special. I've found the notes waaaay too 'busy' for me. Just give me the choreography, leave the rest of it for the DVD.
When I was learning Attack, I kept getting 'distracted' by the notes and info on the opposite page. I missed the whole end of the Power track (couldn't understand why the music was still going and I had finished
) because it was tucked at the top of the second page with the mess of notes underneath it. Okay, no-one else has probably had this problem, but I was launching 3 programs within 14 days, I was a little stressed

I thought that was obvious. Run and do 8 back side kick flicks. 4 on each leg. duh. I was going to demonstrate it and put it on you tube but I fell over. Those back side kick flicks are pretty hard.
I haven't looked at the DVD yet, but I'd be figuring it's some kinda one legged superman.

Step notes are painful. How does "E1 Repeat A1 - R" make it easier. Why couldn't they just put "repeat ATT R" or whatever they used to say.

I laughed and made fizzy drink bubble up my nose.
You know it actually means to do 4 side flick kicks (2 on each leg) while moving back, and then 4 back flick kicks (I guess moving back or on the spot would work.)
The bit that gets me is that it says Run, when just above, it already has the run forward.
Seriously, who OKs this to go out? It would be simper to just write "Watch the DVD - we can't be bothered explaining this bit"

wow, what a fantastic release! I swear every song went off, everybody was motivated to work damn hard, lots of interesting versions of moves in there, fun but still harcore!

Didnt actually pay much attention to the agility track tho, we were all too busy doing pushups lol. Worked well I thought, was well explained and clear. Plus they made a point of then telling us to 'mop up' after before we did the interval track *g*
Looking forward to learning and teaching this!

Yeah - I thought the new release was pretty good... I was happy there weren't many (or any?) jumping lunges, but I thought the warmup music was real wossy and so 'un-attack' like.. I much prefered the 'Abba' warmup from the previous release..

yeah I agree, I thought it sounded like the lyrics didn't fit with the music initially, but it has really grown on me, now one of my fave tracks! :-D
